Literature Text
Born to life and raised to death
Trained and conformed with increasing urgency
Using molds that pushed out more than they let in
And it wasn’t enough, it didn't match up
She was unexpected enough to be normal
She stumbled into her fairytales, bleeding her dreams
Clutching her tumbling tunes of hope
As they ran and slipped between fumbling fingers
Slithering down her legs to coil below
Poised to strike if picked up again
Sobbing wet tears into dry walls
That were then uncaring but would once be kind
They watched silently but never responded
Yet were first in line to hear her last
And taste the blood
And smell the blackness
And bid farewell
The impurity within her had had enough
So it spurted out
To paint the walls
And sketch out her life
In ways that she could never have
And she had been perfect
To the boy who was waiting
With his bouquet of redemption
But the flowers wilted
As he searched for their owner
Because she was brilliant
Just not in the way they wanted

Synesthesia
Music rains on my eyes, tasting grey, smelling of stars.

A Colourful World
Once we all had colours
Yellows, blues and oranges
Greens, whites and tan
Pink, purple, and cream
Violet, brown, and black
Life was good,
Life was peaceful
Love abounded
And freedom reigned
But some began to wonder
If good was good enough
To remove the colourful stains
All the blacks were chained
Life continued as before
For those not black there was more
But the blues wanted to explore
And so were put behind locked doors
The greens they said were fine enough
But their ways were a bit rough
No more running around in the buff
Be like us, follow our bluff
The pinks took pity more than hate
And classes made to change their
Literature
Hope never dies
Hopes beat fast as we look
Onward past the hurt and pain
Pieces of this harsh life stay behind
Efforts to make it better are always worth it
Now we are living in the present
Enjoying life when we can
Venturing forward
Entering a new stage in life
Restarting and leaving the past behind
Death we'll never fear
It's just another adventure
Endless days in this life but
Somehow we'll find a way.

Dedicated to all those who are contemplating. Don't do it.
Don't particularly like the first stanza but ah well, think I did a pretty good job on the rest.
Enjoy!
